This is a photo taken after the magnitude 8.8 earthquake in Chile. The quake is so strong that it is felt 2,900Km away from the epicenter. There are many casualties and its still rising. Strong aftershocks, 29 of them magnitude 5 and above and 1 that is magnitude 6.9. Waves 6 feet above normal hit Talcahuano near Concepcion 23 minutes after the quake, and President Michelle Bachelet said a huge wave swept into a populated area in the Robinson Crusoe Islands, 660 kilometers off the Chilean coast. There were no immediate reports of major damage from the waves. Experts warned that a tsunami could strike anywhere in the pacific region, and parts of asia, including Philippines, New Zealand, Australia etc. The tsunami is expected to arive 24hrs after the quake that happened at 3:34am.Here in the Philippines, alert level 1 is issued on the eastern part of the country. These includes, Davao, legaspi and others near these places. The first wave is not the strongest, tsunami hits with multiple waves ranging from 5 min to 1hr. People can say that the danger is over when 2hours after the last wave have passed.

wtf, this is crazy, earthquakes are frequently happening this days, i forgot the date, but if i remember it right, earthquake struck our japan and our country before this Chile quake.

wew.,why does all this calamities have to happen?.,Do we need to get hurt in order to learn a valuable lesson?.,people should treasure things like MOTHER EARTH but maybe it's not really their fault.

Mother Nature has endured for so long. Humans took for granted what nature has offered them and now we're praying the price. Mother Nature is striking back.
